Summer Temporary Employment Program (STEP)

The Summer Temporary Employment Program (STEP) was a provincially-funded program that helped post-secondary and high school students find a summer job from May to August. STEP’s objectives were to provide employment and skill development opportunities for students while helping Alberta businesses get the funding they needed to hire summer workers. STEP ended in late 2019 due to funding cuts.
